Values for Life
Here at St David's CIW Primary School, we recognise the significant influence that a school and individual teachers have on developing our pupils morals and values. As a result, we provide a values based curriculum.
As a school we promote and teach a set of values to our pupils that will ensure they develop the skills to be good citizens in the future.
We support our curriculum with a set of principles (values) that are woven into teaching and learning in order to develop improved social and emotional skills that will positively affect behaviour.
As a school, we focus on six values each academic year:
Year A | Year B |
Thankfulness |
Generosity |
Perseverance | Compassion |
Creativity | Courage |
Justice | Forgiveness |
Friendship | Trust |
Peace | Respect |
